The annual International Conference "Archival and Source studies – Trends and Challenges" of the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will be held on September 26-28, 2019. 

The conference aims to gather scientific news, stimulate close scientific links between Georgian and foreign scientists, promote interdisciplinary and intercultural research, explore ways of adapting to contemporary demands of cultural heritage management, share digital news in the field of humanities.

Applicants can submit their abstracts by June 28 of this year.

The international conference, organized for the fourth time this year by the National Archives, comprises the following scientific directions: Archaeology; Source Studies; Antiquity; History/Art History/Ethnology; Philology (codicology-textology); Natural sciences; Intercultural communications; Restoration-conservation; Digital archives and databases; Cultural heritage management; Georgia and the South Caucasus in 1918-1921.
