The oldest Georgian manuscripts preserved in the Georgian National Archives of the Ministry of Justice and included in the UNESCO World Memory Register have been placed on Google Arts & Culture. 

As a result of the cooperation between the UNESCO World Memory Program and Google Arts & Culture, a separate section was dedicated for the documents entered in the UNESCO World Memory Register, on the Google Arts & Culture portal. Among them are all the manuscripts preserved in the National Archives, which have so far been recognized by UNESCO as part of the World Documentary Heritage.

Here you will find the recording of the online lecture of Ketevan Asatiani, the head of the scientific departments of the National Archives, about the Georgian manuscripts entered in the World Memory Register.

It should be noted that the UNESCO World Memory Register Committee entered the manuscripts preserved in the National Archives in the World Memory Register three times in a row in 2013-2017.

These documents are: Vakhushti Batonishvili Atlas and "Description of the Kingdom of Georgia" (1745), 8 ancient Georgian manuscripts of the IX-XV centuries and the Gospel-Palimpsest (IX-X, XII-XIII, XIV centuries).
