The VIII International Scientific Conference of the National Archives of Georgia, "Archival Studies, Source Studies – Trends and Challenges", will be held on September 21-23, 2023.

Persons with academic degrees, including master’s and doctoral students, can participate in the conference. Acceptance of theses has already started and will continue until June 30.

The VIII International Conference is dedicated to the 950th anniversary of the birth of King David Agmashenebeli, with a separate section on David IV and his era.

The scientific directions of the conference are: philology; history, source studies, archival studies, ethnology, anthropology; the science of art; culturology; digital aesthetics and design; digital archives and databases; conservation andrestoration.
