Dmitri Frolov, the representative of the National Archives of Finland transferred over 261 electronic files of up to 100 documents of Finnish politicians and diplomats - Carl Enkel and Herman Gummerus - to Teona Iashvili, the General Director of the National Archives of Georgia.
Among the abovementioned materials there are the documents of the League of Nations concerning the given situation in Georgia; the Memorandum presented by Akaki Chkhenkeli to the League of Nations; correspondence between Georgian and Finnish diplomatic missions and others.
Memorandum of Understanding between the National Archives of Georgia and Finland was signed in 2011 and during this period the parties have already exchanged the copies of several important archival documents.
