The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and George Chubinashvili National Research Center for Georgian Art History and Heritage Preservation organized the exhibition “Pirosmani’s Tbilisi” at Tbilisi History Museum. 

Materials from the photo collection of Dimitri Ermakov, preserved at the National Archives of Georgia, are presented at the exposition. Among them the photos taken by the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries in Tbilisi: the views of the city and the types.

The exhibition is hold in the frames of the International Conference “Pirosmani and the Georgian Culture”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Pirosmani.

The exhibition at Tbilisi History Museum will last till November 10.
