Exhibition "The First Republic of Georgia" was opened in Poland, in Public Library of Warsaw, organized by the National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia and the State Archives of Poland. 

The event was opened by the Director General of the National Archives of Georgia Teona Iashvili, Director of the State Archives of Poland Pawel Pietrzik and Ambassador of Georgia to Poland Ilia Darchiashvili. 

The exhibition reflects the main events that took place in the First Republic of Georgia (1918-1921); also the steps taken by the Georgian state in the early 20th century to promote democratic values.

The exhibition also features archival documents from the two countries' diplomatic relations 100 years ago.

The exhibition on the First Republic of Georgia at the Warsaw Public Library will last till November 14.
