The National Archives of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia will host the 4th Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival from October 21 to 24, 2025. This year’s festival theme will be “Auteur Cinema”.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to view film heritage preserved in archives, museums, and other institutions both in Georgia and internationally, all showcased at the National Archives’ cinema hall.

In addition to the screenings, the 2025 festival will feature a panel discussion on the topic: “Digitization and Restoration of Film Heritage: Accessibility and Distribution.” Representatives of film institutions from participating countries will be able to join the discussion.

Those wishing to participate in the Tbilisi International Archival Film Festival must submit their applications and materials related to the film they intend to present by September 1, 2025, via email at TIAFF@archives.gov.ge.
