Polish librarians visited the National Archives of Georgia

The National Archives of Georgia hosted representatives of the Polish Librarians Association. The guests were met by Teona Iashvili, General Director of the National Archives, who introduced them to the activities of the institution. They visited the Archives’ Scientific-Reference Library, the Researchers' Hall, and the Cinema, as well as the restoration and digitalization laboratories.

The members of the Polish Librarians Association familiarized themselves with a small exposition prepared for them, which featured historical documents and photographic materials preserved in the National Archives, reflecting Georgian-Polish relations.

The meeting aimed at sharing professional experience and deepening cooperation between the National Archives of Georgia and the Polish Librarians Association.

The Delegation includeed representatives from public and university libraries of the Polish city of Poznan.
